Change Contact's Name
User's name can be changed in User Management Settings
Takeover
Takeovers allow you to directly contact with the target contact you currently have.
- Toggle On unlocks the chat bar for you to type your message in like how you would in a normal chat application. This however disables the bot, blocking the target contact from accessing drifts.
- Toggle Off locks the chat bar and you will lose the ability to type and talk with the target contact. This allows the contact to be able to use the bot and access drifts
Channel Dropdown
This allows you to switch channels for a target contact. It basically means viewing different conversations between multiple channels or chatbots for one particular contact.
e.g. Contact John may have texted 2 of the company's WhatsApp bot, hence there are 2 different conversations:
- John > Chatbot1
- John > Chatbot 2
However, on the Chat Dashboard's Inbox, there only exist one "John". Click on it and click on the channel dropdown, you will see a list of available channels you can select. Click on either of them to switch between conversations
File Uploads
Multitude of files can be uploaded through the Chat Dashboard only if your Takeover toggle is On.
Type supported:
- Image
Emojis
A wide variety of classic Emojis can be sent through the Chat Dashboard only if your Takeover toggle is On.
Purple Dots
These Purple Dots that exist next to the Chat signifies an unread message. Select and open the chat to remove the Purple Dot
